12 dessert spoons marked for John Aldwinckle and Thomas Slater, London, 1888;

Condition
The set appearing in overall good and ready to place condition. All items with a light pattern of surface scratching commensurate with gentle polishing. There are small areas of tarnish to the recessed decoration on the handles as well as some small instances of rubbing to the gilt.The bowls of the spoons with light surface scratches, one of the spoons with a minute nick on the edge of the bowl. The knives exhibit slightly more pronouced surface scratching, likely from use. There are three forks that have their tines bent slightly out of alignment, this is not immediately noticeable. Tha case is in fairly good condition, lined with green felt and securing the service in three tiers. There is some minor staining and color fading to the interor of the case as well as nick, scrapes, and wear to the wood, consistent with age and use.
